What are Research Objects?

  Multidimensional digital objects that encapsulate essential information about experiments and investigations to facilitate their reusability, reproducibility and better understanding. They comprise scientific assets, including data used and produced, methods employed (e.g., scientific workflows), provenance and setting information, people involved and annotations about these resources. You can use ROHub to: find and inspect Research Objects, create and maintain them, comment them and add predefined or custom metadata, create snapshots and observe their evolution, monitor their quality with the Wf4Ever web services.

The ROHub stores 2906 Research Objects Many research objects have been created from existing workflows in myExperiment or from new experiments by scientists in the bioinformatic and astronomy domain as part of the Wf4Ever project.
